Kim Shukla, P.Ag.
Kim is a Professional Agrologist with over 30 years of experience in Canadian agriculture. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Agriculture) from the University of Manitoba. From crop production to market analysis she has worked both nationally and internationally. In her career the Kim spent eight years as Executive Director of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance and was instrumental in the dynamic growth of the organization and the hemp sector in Canada through the development of relationships with Health Canada and Agriculture and AgriFood Canada. Her knowledge and expertise of the hemp sector and the now expanding Cannabis sector in Canada puts her at the forefront.
In her career she has been President of the Agricultural Institute of Canada, member of many agricultural boards and represented many interests on various provincial and national committees. This leadership expertise will be an asset to CAG.
Kim is currently serving in many different capacities with CAG and her expertise in the Cannabis sector will provide CAG with a leading edge in the industry.
Killian Ruby CPA, CA
Acting Chief Financial Officer
CanAscen currently outsources its accounting functions to Malaspina Consultants Inc, a company that provides accounting and regulatory reporting services to private and public companies. Killian Ruby is CanAscen’s Acting CFO and a principal of Malaspina. Mr. Ruby is a CPA, CA and former partner with a Canadian public accounting firm who specializes in financial management and reporting issuers. It is the intention of CanAscen to ultimately hire a full time CFO and internalize all financial and reporting requirements.
Killian obtained his Irish Chartered Accountancy designation in 2002, emigrated from Ireland to Canada in 2005, and obtained his Canadian Chartered Accountancy designation in 2009. Killian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the National University of Ireland (Cork) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Treasury from the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers and Dublin City University.

Al Foreman has over 18 years of experience in private equity, corporate finance, and financial technology. Mr. Foreman is currently a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer of Tuatara Capital, a cannabis focused alternative investment manager. In this role Al is responsible for formulating Tuatara’s macro investment strategy and for the structuring and execution of portfolio investments. Al earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut where he was a United Technologies Finance Scholar, and a two-time Scholar Athlete Award Winner.
Al also holds a J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and an MBA from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. Mr. Foreman currently serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Connecticut Foundation where he is a member of the Investment Committee and Athletic Steering Committee.

Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics/ Commerce) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant. Ross was a partner with Grant Thornton LLP for some 28 years, where he served a multitude of clients operating in complex regulatory systems across a range of industries. His clients, both private and public, include well known Canadian leaders in their industries, encompassing financial services, real estate development and construction and government services. His efforts encompassed advising on mergers and acquisitions, public market fund raises, regulatory regime enhancements, as well as various assurance services.
Such work not only encompassed Canadian provincial and national organizations, but also included advisement to a foreign Central Bank. Ross continues to assist private and public entities in restructuring, operational enhancement leading to greater profitability and governance oversight. Ross served a term as a member of the board of Grant Thornton, as well as numerous not for profit entities in health care and housing. He continues to sit on Boards of private and public entities.

Mr. Riiska has over 21 years of financial and Wall Street experience. His areas of professional experience include venture capital/private equity, fundraising, investor relations and alternative investment fund administration. Marc is currently a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Tuatara Capital.
In this role Mr. Riiska leads financial management, operations, vendor management, and overall administration of Tuatara Capital, L.P. and its related entities; and he is also actively involved with the structuring and execution of new investments. Marc earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
